In March this year Sharon Kerr, CEO of Global Access Project presented at the world’s largest assistive technology conference – CSUN in San Diego USA. The response to her presentation was such that she has been asked to present again – this time via webinar to universities and colleges across both Canada and the United States of America.
Sharon will be talking about universal design of curriculum and the use of hand held devices in meeting the needs of vulnerable students in our colleges and universities. Her presentation titled: Technology opening the doors to education for First Nations
Students in Australia , will highlight the outcomes and lessons learned through a project that she led funded by the Australian Government’s Office of Learning and Teaching.
